What is the BR Photoshoot?
The BR Photoshoot is a project that was designed to spotlight the employees’ creative talents and celebrate the people of Brand Republic. It’s not just your ordinary photoshoot, it becomes a dynamic stage where art and passion come together. Each shoot is built around a unique theme, offering a fresh perspective and an engaging creative challenge for the employees of the company. It is carefully planned months in advance, ensuring a seamless execution on the day. In a technical aspect, the output from this photoshoot is used for the company’s website and the employees’ IDs. But it definitely is more than that. On a deeper level, it’s also about bringing people together in a collaborative environment and giving them an opportunity to push creative boundaries.
Who Initiated It?
The BR Photoshoot was initiated by Brand Republic’s CEO, Jofel Gaddi, who is committed to his goal of enriching the employees’ lives with different experiences. This annual event provides a unique opportunity for team members to shine their brightest, feel their most beautiful selves, and explore different personas.
When Was the First Photoshoot?
The BR Photoshoot made its debut in 2018 with a modest but meaningful start. For the first-ever shoot, the employees donned outfits in Brand Republic’s signature colors. It was a significant milestone as it marked the beginning of what would become a celebrated and anticipated annual BR event.

BR wanted to show that each obstacle became a catalyst for growth and these problems pushed them to be better. The employees now had braver hearts to rally against challenges and transform them into opportunities. The cover photo was notable for its vibrant neon look, which not only reflected the theme but also symbolized the energy required to overcome obstacles. It showed how Brand Republic is full of stories that are great inspirations for rising above and pushing forward.
4. Breakaway: This theme brought a fresh perspective on breaking away from the usual, inviting the viewers to embrace creativity and positivity. The employees were challenged to take on the unconventional and mold novel ideas, making them their own. The cover photo showcased a fresh look, embodying the light-heartedness of the shoot and truly capturing the essence of freedom. Each element chosen was designed to encourage not just the employees but also the audience to explore possibilities.
5. Brazen Bloods: 2023’s theme was for the employees to become braver and more fearless. It encouraged them to step outside of their comfort zones and accept failures. The theme’s approach was to show how people in Brand Republic are more than ready to fight new challenges that may come their way.
6. Breaking Barriers: For 2024, BR became a disruptor as we continued breaking barriers in the industry, proving that we are consistently growing as a company. Our commitment to innovation was prevalent in this shoot. This was evident in the overall visuals, which had a sort of futuristic aesthetic to create a striking look of pushing the boundaries of imagination.
Each photoshoot has not only highlighted diverse themes but also featured an array of talented individuals, contributing to the project’s growing legacy.
Ready, Set, Learn…
When it comes to imparting lessons to the participants, the BR Photoshoot hones the employees’ skills in understanding the importance of collaboration.

“For me, it’s the make-up part. Kasi me, personally, ‘di naman ako mahilig mag-make-up so I definitely enjoyed that part.”
“The food. Funny man pakinggan but I remember last year, ang sarap nung food talaga. And aside from that, siyempre the employees also get to talk to each other outside of the office so definitely, ‘yun ‘yung fave part ko from the shoot.”
“For me, my memorable experience is ‘yung first-time ko mag-attend ng shoot! That was the year 2021 I think. Memorable because, for me perfect ‘yung make-up, & outfit, feeling ko lang ang ganda ganda ko (GGSS).”
“I love the BR Photoshoot kasi it captures moments with my co-workers/friends. Aside from that, it also allows me na makapag-express ng self ko at ng creativity ko. Nakakatuwa lang balikan ‘yung mga naging shoot experiences ko before kasi parang it’s not in my personality na mag-pose pose sa camera tapos during the shoot, I can be creative. Parang nagiging ibang tao talaga.”
